It depends how much land was with the house. If the pond took up most of it, although I would love to have the newts I think I would find it impractical sometimes through worry of causing problems/disturbances. However, if there was a lot of other land with the property I don't think I'd be too concerned.0

I would be proud to have attracted them! Point out in the promotional blurb as you sell that it shows how the area isn't polluted and disrupted, and how the fields are unlikely to get any kind of planning consent to box in your views! It would certainly be a huge plus to me if I was buying.0

For the avoidance of doubt, the focus of the poll is the newts, not the pond. There will always be buyers who do/don’t want a pond (children/risk etc.), but the newts add an additional dimension.0
