Does anybody know how to get a red permanent marker stain out of a light blue leather settee?
Thanks

I have a black felt tip (not permanent though) mark on my leather sofa and may try some of these suggestions myself. This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

........is this possible??
I got a brilliant bargain in the Next sale, but there is a small smudge of the red pen they use for marking down prices on the collar. I'm tempted to keep it anyway (the mark isn't TOO obvious, or so I'm trying to persuade myself:rolleyes: ), but it would be great if anyone has a way of getting rid of it.
Thanks in anticipation .........[0 -
Hi Bennifred,
I had a similar problem........a tiny brown mark on the edge of suede boots. I used an emery board to 'rub' it out. Not having seen the mark on your jacket, I can't say whether or not it would work for you, but it may be worth a try.

that sounds a much better idea than any solvent method, which might affect the dye as well0

Hi, Pink and redux!
Thanks for that suggestion - I'll go and try it now and report back!

Good heavens! It worked! The red mark has gone, there is just a very slightly lighter area on the suede now, which just looks like part of the natural shading.
Thank you very much!:j It would never have occurred to me to do that - brilliant
