I don't know why you would want to buy it, but many people (not me) buy it because they prefer it to REAL butter. I guess people are all different
PS. It's not hydrogenated, It's just butter and veg oil, and if you go into the old style board you'll find many people who are proud to brag that they make their own spreadable butter.0 -

For a veg oil to become solidified it has to be hydrogenated
The only "spreadable butter" I'd ever contemplate buying would be Lurpak brand as it contains a blend of butter and unhydrogenated and unsaturated rapeseed oil
