I don't believe it! This thread has been up for over two hours, and no one has yet pointed out that Anchor spreadable is not butter.
(It's a spread made from a mixture of butter and vegetable oil, of course.)0 -

Kerrygold has a softer butter which they claim is butter and supposedly the spreadability is a result of using softer milkfat from summer months, cooling and crystallising it https://www.kerrygold.co.uk0

At £1:60 a pop:mad::mad::eek::eek::eek: one might as well buy the following:
Organic butter, French unsalted butter, butter with seasalt etc unless there is a butter that has all the taste but a considerably lower price.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
Reading whatever books I want to the rescue!:money::beer[/B

Riverford organic butter is nice. I buy butter in 4x to freeze and put salted butter in butter dish as it softens nicely there.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Why on earth would I want to pay £1.60 for a hydrogenated spread when I can buy REAL butter for the same price or less
