I have a Navman, only still use it as it has good RDS traffic alerts, otherwise it is crap.

For the price of a much better satnav I would buy a new one on sale at Halfords, or try Amazon.

I am going for a Garmin when cash allows, the Navman wasn't good when new to be honest.
  • I also have a navman, I find that they work fine for me, give clear instructions and the display is clear, BUT and it's a big one, the support is virtually non existant, emails take days and weeks to get a reply, or you can spend time on the phone at 10p per minute. optional numbers from 'Sat no to 0871' are no good either as when you select option1 tech help it just goes to a recorded message telling you to ring the 0871.................. The web site is a maze often taking you round in circles trying to find what you want and even the contact us by email option lets you fill in you problem then again offers you a selection from the FAQs which you have already read and do not help... So OK when they work but fit for the bin if you have problems

It used to be possible to update certain satnavs by downloading a patch for them, but you could only get that patch via torrent sites, which are now censored by most UK internet providers.
