Refund of NI Contributions

  • Thank you all for your your comments. The only reason I asked is I know a man who claimed for the eight years he had contributed over the thirty years and got back 18 months.

    I think the man is making things up - in the absence of other factors, he would not have received a penny back. Perhaps he received a tax rebate?
