Manchester Car Parking near King Street?

Google - Parking, King Street, Manchester, should bring up a few places."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

There isn't anywhere free within the city centre itself. You don't specifiy from which direction you will be entering Manchester, but if you're coming from the North, the nearest free unrestricted parking will be around Knowsley St / Bent St. if you can get a space. It will be quite a walk, though.
Alternatively, you could park near a tram station, like Crumpsall Lane or Woodlands Road and hop on a tram which is quite regular (every 6 mins) and will take you to either Mosley St or St. Peter's square, quite close to work.0 -
Hate driving around Manchester... Get there early and leave early is my advice! The centre is gridlocked after 4pm0

The Boddingtons carpark on the corner of Great Ducie St and Trinity Way, opposite the MEN. £3 all day, fully attended. About five minutes walk down Deansgate to King St.
I've parked there most days for a couple of years and never had any trouble. Easy to get to from the motorway as well.0
