I took out an Asda credit card at the end of 2005 and it came with a big booklet of vouchers, some of which were Days Out vouchers. You could also download unlimited vouchers from their website, they were valid til Oct 06. We used them every week to go to a fab local country park.
i just checked their website and there is no mention of any of the vouchers - does anyone know if they have changed the benefits or can I just not find the right place to look ?
Cheers

Hi, Not sure if this will help, but I signed up for one last Friday, (I already have an egg money so I get cashback), but decided on the 2p of a litre of fuel offer.
Along with this the lady mentioned that you somehow earn "points" on spends, this is turned into vouchers that they send you to spend in Asda, around November, the idea is that its intime for xmas.
Maybe the vouchers are now just for in asda.0 -
Hi Linda, yes the vouchers you are talking about are Asda ones (last year I got about £15 which was nice in time for the xmas food shop!!)
These were a separate book of vouchers, I guess if they didnt mention them to you then they dfinitely stopped them. Shame, as I was looking forward to another summer of free entry to our lovely country park!! We went most weeks last year, used one voucher each for hubs and me though I think we were only supposed to use one per family they never seemed to notice, plus we had both kids in double buggy and they never asked the older one's ages - bit baughty but hey. Pants, will have to find somewhere else "free" to go!!
Thanks anyway

oh should also say, I too was using the 2p off fuel thing, but I now have a GEMoney card, you get a whopping 3% cashback on all garage and supermarket purchases, so if a liter of fuel is priced at Asda at 87.9p, with Asda card it is 85.9p, with GEmoney it is 85.2p
Ok so not a lot cheaper but every little helps plus you can use it on food shopping too. Well anything bought in Asda (or Tesco, etc). So if you buy clothes or DVDs or cards of housey stuff at Asda/Tesco its 3% off that too. We reckon we are on for about £140 cashback for the year. All for just buying what we'd buy anyway. Of course it only pays out at the end of the year rather than an ongoing reduction. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it.
