Barlaycard Platinum 6.9% Balance Transfer Offer

My Barclaycard Platinum currently has a BT offer for 6.9% for the life of the tranfer.
At the moment the only way I can make use of this is to transfer £271 from an Amazon card which has a 16.9% APR. I worked out that I can save roughly £10 on interest if I transfer and keep paying this off at the same rate. Since a tenner's a tenner, it would seem sensible to take this offer.
However, I got thinking that in the future this BT offer will possibly be more useful a year or so from now when some of my other 0% cards with higher balances run out.
So, the question is, how likely is me taking this offer just now likely to influence whether Barclaycard offers me this again?
Eg, is it a one off and if I use it now for this trivial amount, then I have blown my chance to use it in the future? Or the more I make use of it, the more they will offer it? Or is it just offered at certain times of year and is not dependent on account use?

In my experience, take up of this offer has little impact on whether it continues to be offered. On my card it is there 80% of the time. The only thing that seems to cause it to disappear is when you near your credit limit.
So go for it!0 -
I have 0% until august 2013, typical never there when want itDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

My wife's account has never had a 0% offer of any length, but regular 5.9/6.9% for life offers, while mine has varying 0% offers but has never had a life of balance offer, which is a shame as that's what I actually want.0

Thanks for answering. If it makes no difference then I might as well take the offer now then, and hopefully it will be available later on when I could actually properly make use of it.0
