Its my understanding that not everyone gets the actual product to test and there may be variations that they have "created" that are not actually a specific product that you can buy if that makes sense.

Givaudan are very much connected to the process of developing products and concepts...so what you test may not then make it through to something you see on the shop shelves.

Givaudan only make fragrances. The base product will be exactly the same as the brand in question, the only difference will be in the experimental nature of the scent.

So if a shampoo sample is Tresemme, then it will be the same Tresemme sold in the shops but with a different scent. If a washing up liquid is Fairy, then it will be the same as that sold but with a different scent.

What is really interesting though, is that the scent of a product can have a huge impact on the user's impression of the effectiveness of the product, even though it is only the scent that is different. That is one of the things these trials highlight.

You have recently answered to a pre-recruitment to take part in a test product at home about a dishwashing product but unfortunately, you were not selected for one of the reasons below :

- you don't meet the criteria
- your personal information were badly informed or informed but not in the right case (like mentioned in our recruitment)
- you didn't answer to all the questions

If you want to have a chance to take part in a test product at home, you have at least to respect all the instructions mentioned in the recruitment.

Yes, I got exactly the same despite them saying a few days ago that I was on the trial. I suppose I'll wait and see what happens.

Yes, I received the same email. I didn't originally meet the criteria but they said I was going to receive the test product. Now looks like they've realised their mistake. Very strangely worded email.
