i live at 26 and and she said she lives at 29.
now the letter seemed unopened and i have no reason to doubt her but what shall i do?

Does the letter have your house number on it or the lady's?
If it has your house number on it, you need to file a complaint with royal mail.
If it has hers on it, you need to complain to Asda.
I've had neighbours mail arrive in amongst mine once or twice in the last year so it does make me wonder how much of my mail is with someone else now?
To make matters worse Nationwide have a habbit of sending cards and PINs out so that they arrive the same day... And their cards don't need activating!
That was immediately made into a formal complaint, poor show from Nationwide.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Complaining will achieve absolutely nothing. Absolute best case scenario is that the postman is told to be "more careful".
It the letter is still sealed then I'd personally just use it. If fraud does ever occur in the future though, don't mention that the letter went to your neighbour! If you don't need to use it anytime soon though, it won't hurt to contact Creation and tell them that the card may have been compromised so you want a new one sent.0 -
Will the card not have to be activated before use? I somehow doubt your neighbour would have done that so you can check when you call them yourself.0

agreed, and postman will prob shred the rest of my mail if hes told off by the boss! Will the card not have to be activated before use? I somehow doubt your neighbour would have done that so you can check when you call them yourself.
it needs to be but its an automated service, i'll activate it and see if theres any anomoly between actiavting mine and the OH's card0 -
what's the problem; if your neighbour hadn't delivered it to you then their may be a problem
and don't you receive a PIN separately?0 -

the problem is pretty obvious, what if she didnt bring it round? and what if she opened it and noted the numbers?and don't you receive a PIN separately?
with 21,000 posts im sure ur aware of a) some card compaines send them seperatly on the same day and more importantly b) you dont need a PIN for internet/telephone shopping0 -
You're making a mountain out of a molehill and turning a Posties error into something it's not.
If you're really THAT concerned contact the company and sort it out. Why are you wasting your time here trying to come up with every negative scenario you can? Why haven't you contacted them yet ? Why don't you answer the questions already asked instead of being evasive ? Why haven't you tried to activate it?
Stop messing around and call them !0 -
