As per the title really :)

Is the Simply Switch cashback via the special MSE link still available as the terms currently say it expired 31st July 2012

I'm looking to switch to EDF and the possible £40 cashback appears to be the best deal if still available.

  • Good question. i like you was considering joining them but am not sure after you have highlighted this.
  • it doesnt matter anyway for us EDF don't work with Simply Switch - they cant switch you to it thus no cashback. Just spoke to a rep with them.

They have to show it in the comparisons however as a comparison site

    You're right!

I didn't get that far at the time. As the terms said the offer expired I didn't go any further with SimplySwitch.
It seems Simply Switch only have deals with a few companies now.
I note the terms of the cashback have not been revised and MSE Martin did not include the company in the recent emailing, so presumably the cashback is now finished.

I used energylinx in the end for £34 cashback :)
    (via special MSE link)
  • Thanks for flagging this - we've asked SimplySwitch to update its terms and conditions as far as we're aware the offer is still available.

    Thanks :)

I see the company has now extended the offer by just 3 months - 1 month of which has almost gone already!

I'm not sure why they need to specify a period of offer at all when they say the offer may be withdrawn at any time.
