I've been having a lot of trouble over the last few weeks, the screen would just die, sometimes it would flash bright colours red; green; yellow; blue. The only way i could get it going again was switching off and on at the socket, sometimes half a dozen times or more.
I thought the computer must have had it's day (it's about 5yrs old) but then i realised it wasn't so much the computer that had been staying on, so i've been switching the monitor off and on each time it's happend, up to now it's coming back on but leave it for 5mins and it's gone blank again.
So i've been looking at new monitors, can i ask what our experts think of this one for £85 from Argos, it has good reviews on their site.

Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Personally would get LED instead with DVI & VGA input.
But you probably looking at around £100 for that.
With £85, you could also consider LG

Thanks Cisco, I looked at the LG and one of the reviews said ........ 'only downside that it only has vga connectivity, it would have been nice to see dvi or hdml'
a second review also says .......... 'would have preferred dvi/hdml to future prof it'
What does that mean compared with the LED ?Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
