Fitted Wardrobes - Yes or no?

We live in a Victorian Terrace, with chimney breasts (no fireplaces though) in the bedrooms and we're desparate for storage space.
Whats peoples opinions on fitted wardrobes in the recesses next to the chimney? Is it a yes or no in terms of being able to sell it in the future? Can anyone advise me? I'm new to this and don't really know my options
Hope you're all having a great weekend

Fitted wardrobes will always give much more storage space and can be a good selling point too. I wouldn't do it if you were going to move in the next 3 - 5 years though - expensive to get fitted and you may still have no wardrobes in the next house!
I sold a house last year with great fitted wardrobes - everyone who looked round said they were great (you can fit chest of drawers inside them for tons of extra space) - but I really miss them now!!DFW No. 344
Proud to be dealing with my debts!!:T0
