Olympic travelcard zone 1-9

Hi,
I've luckily managed to get hold of some tickets for the Olympics next week and packaged with it is a London travelcard for zones 1-9. I live pretty close to Gatwick airport and I've had conflicting reports that the airport train station is included in zone 9. Having looked on the TFL website, there is no mention of it and there only seem to be a handful of stations in the zones 7-9.
Is anyone able to give me a precise answer please?
Many thanks

Zones 7,8,9 apply to stations in outer NW London like Watford.
Check here for a list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_stations_in_London_fare_zones_7%E2%80%939,_G_and_W0 -
The nearest station to Gatwick that is in a zone is Coulsdon South - Zone 6, you could use a ticket to there and then the travelcard.0

We are going tomorrow, and are staying in Kings Langley near Watford, which is a 'special' zone. We have also got a zone 1-9 travelcard as well.
I take it we will have to pay the extra to enter the travelcard zone, but what sort of cost can we expect? That's my mutt in the picture above.0 -
Kings Langley - Watford Jn is £3.50 Off Peak Day Return or £5.10 Anytime Day Return.
For this particular flow, off peak is defined as " By any train scheduled to arrive London Terminals or Kensington Olympia at or after 1000" towards London. There is no restriction whatsoever out of London.
Note that the train must call at the station where you change from one ticket to the next (in this case Watford Jn - which I think they all do!)
Watford Jn is not in Zone 9 but you have a Games Travelcard, which is Zones 1-9 plus Watford Jn.
Sorry for the long delay, if you have any further rail travel queries I'd recommend a dedicated Fares, Tickets & Routeing forum0 -
All sorted and now back home, and yes, you are correct.
In fact, we got the train from Kings Langley, and for 4 of us to the 'zone' on a return basis, as we had Olympic tickets, came to a MSE £7 for all of us. :j
Had a fab night, and bumped into Johnny Vegas and had pics taken with him. That's my mutt in the picture above.0
