If you love the idea of cycling along traffic-free lanes, through vineyards, orchards and flower-festooned villages, this eight-night holiday in France and Germany is not to be missed. This fabulous trip, rich in historic treasures and gastronomic delights, is up for grabs for one lucky winner and a guest. You’ll spend six nights in France and two in Germany. And you’ll cycle through the Alsace’s most beautiful villages: Eguisheim, where wine-making began, medieval Rouffach and half-timbered Turckheim, where a night watchman still walks the streets. In Germany, vineyard cycling trails give way to quiet riverside tracks with vistas over the Rhine.

The prize is for two sharing a double/twin room. It includes: return travel from Folkestone to Calais with Eurotunnel; accommodation; continental breakfasts and evening meals; plus the services of a Headwater representative. The prize must be taken on assigned departure dates May to September 2013 and is subject to availability and standard Headwater booking conditions. The winner or one of the party must hold a valid driving licence. Bikes will be supplied.
