Ignore?

I ordered some BB cream from a Korean seller on ebay in June. Reputable seller, good feedback score etc. Delivery was quoted as 2-4 weeks. After 4 weeks I sent the seller a message, she said to wait a few more days. After 5 weeks I sent her another message, same response so I opened an item not received case.

The seller sent me a message the following day, outside of the INR case, saying I should wait another fortnight and if it still didn't arrive she'd send a replacement. I said I didn't want to wait another fortnight, I'd rather have a refund so I could order the item from someone else.

I had to wait several more days before I could escalate the case, which I did yesterday. Ebay found in my favour and refunded me. I left negative feedback.

This morning I had an email from the seller, sent direct to my email address (not via ebay) saying I was "too bad" and that unless I withdraw the feedback she'd report me to the Korean ebay seller forum (woooh, scared!) and this would result in most Korean sellers blocking me from bidding on their items.

I'm not bothered in the slightest by this threat but what I'm not sure about is whether ebay would be interested. Should I just ignore her or report her to ebay?

Opinions would be gratefully received.

    Report.

I would phone ebay and say the seller is sending threats to your ebay registered email address.

I would also update the feedback if you can, Add a note saying seller threatens buyers who leave negatives.

Report her, definitely. Not sure I would worry too much about the threat - unless that happens routinely with the SK forums, in which case if they are anything like our forums the post will be yanked very quickly, but it's not really fair - and I like the follow-up idea.

It can't do any harm to report and maybe ebay do take this kind of thing seriously.

I found this case of a Korean buyer saying she was going to send the boys around: http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/seller-threatening-send-someone-my-house-beat-me-464578.html#post11080477

Thanks everyone, I'll report it and leave it to ebay to do whatever they want. I guess I just wondered whether ebay would say "what are you telling us for".

RHemmings...thanks for that reassuring link ;)
