Once my husband & I are settled in Norfolk, we're going to be looking for work. Under the old HB rules, we would have been given allowances and premiums and first £20 week would be disregarded.
LHA being completely different, how is it assessed if you're working but on low income?
LHA for the area we're moving to is £116.38 week. if we get the house we're going for, rent is £525 month so £121.15 week. If we would have got £50 week towards our rent under the old HB system, will we get £50 under LHA? Does LHA have the same allowances and premiums?
Can't use turn2us as haven't got job yet.
I am aware of the changes to the rules on number of hours you have to work to get WTC.
