Have no idea whether my T does or not! Completed a refurb today, have been struggling to find anything for a couple of months. They even had the cheek to move the chilled reduced section. Managed to find the Febreze aerosols and small Lenor though:)
They have installed new self-scanners though (aisle 14 for anyone in the San**urst store - toward the front of the store):)

my son is going to college in glasgow to do his hnd in electrical engineering, then is hoping to do degree after that. He is leaving home to live in student accomodation and enrolled today on his course and went to see his accomodation, he is happy. I think he is ready to leave home and be independant. Although is coming home every weekend to do his part time job. I feel so sad and am dreading it but must keep reminding myself its what he wants and its fantastic what he is doing for his future.
He had some time to kill in Glasgow so he went and visited an art gallery which was free entry, so sensible! (love him with all my heart) he done his hnc the year before last and has worked 16 hours a day with only 3 days off in last 4 months saving for his accomodation and move. Just thought i would share this. Its not cambridge but it means alot to us as Frazer has severe dyslexia but is incredibly gifted and clever in other areas. PROUD AS PUNCH XXXX
have not been about for a while and come back to all this great news about clever kids getting in to uni well done all of you I am so pleased for you all:T:T:T
not taking anything away from the others i just wanted to say an extra big well done to blondenurses son having 2 children with very bad dyslexia i know what an achievment this is my older daughter was written of as being thick when she was younger she has just finished her degree and her younger brother has just passed level 2 land based engineering and been accepted to do level 3...
remind your son to make the most of the learning support unit at uni my daughters was great not only did they give her practical help but they gave her a laptop/ printer/ recorder to record lessons and software so she could speak and it types for her
good luck to all the elite children what ever they have chosen to do:A0 -

Just say that if she had mentioned it you would have let her know that you were going to do it (next week maybe?).
She does have the right to cut the hedge on her side though, though why she uses a gardener like that is beyond me!
In the meantime if might be a good idea to just trim the rest of the hedge a bit to even it up a little!
Congrats to all who got their desired college/university places, even if one has had to be deferred to a while!
Yes thats what I was thinking re first paragraph. i cant cut it to match the rest she's cut it back to the bare wood, the hedge is 82 years oldif I can I'll post a pic tomorrow of what it normally looks like

normal service resumed at home. teeange son is back to being horrid and hormanl again. oh well it was nice whislt it lasted.
Thank you for the update on the dog I had been wondering what the outcome was.
Hope you manage to get the rest you need and have a lovely relaxed weekend.Bootsalebargains wrote: »Only on here for a couple of minutes but wanted to update good news. OH phoned and he's been to theatre and he's still has his foot and leg, he's not sure if they've taken any toes as the way it's bandaged he can only see the big toe and 2 next to it and no one has been and told him what they have actually done.
You must have been so pleased to hear this - hope he continues to make a speedy recoveryblondynurse wrote: »CONGRATATS TO YOU ALL!!!! nice to hear positive things as well as the negatives.

QPR10!!
I have a question for you about this ancestry thing please, it's kinda caught my intrest as I know OH was thinking about doing it, but is it different for getting records in Scotland? I looked on ancestry.co.uk and seen the thing about the 1911 census being available but that looks to be just England and Wales?
Or if anyone else happens to know, it'd be much appreciated...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

:hello: Good evening elite from a very wet Newcastle on Tyne :j
I've had to hop skip and jump to here from sunday as I am still on a little holiday 'back home'
Susan 3dogs I spent an hour at Collingwood monument and said a pray for my dad and Alan, very emotional time for me. Yesterday DH and I went on a 3 hour sail down the Tyne to the piers as we approached 'collingwood' the tears started again, but I have had such a good time.
Spent 2 days searching for graves so I can add info to my 'tree' and visited some family members to catch up.
DH is propping up the bar whilst \I'm doing 'research' lol
Congratulations to all the uni passes  you must all be so proud of your 'children'
Lala you could always give me a shout to meet for coffee as I'm not tooooo far from Cambridge
ANyway, Happy Birthday to those I've missed xThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
