    Thats fabulous, well done him:T:T:T:T
Stress levels are going through the roof here:(DS has accepted that he'll be going to Durham and is fine about it, but been pooled at Cambridge and now his school have just phoned to find out whats happening. He's explained that hes still waiting and his school are now phoning Cambridge to tell them they are mad if they don't take him:eek::eek::eek::eek:Its a bl00dy emotional rollercoaster in the Lala house at the moment, everytime the phone rings I think we both feel sick:o

I spoke to my DS last night and he said St Chads at Durham is one of the smaller colleges but has great results, staff and facilities.
My DS was an A+ student all the way through school and was marked down the year the exams boards messed around with the results. He has Warwick first and Durham 2nd. Warwick refused to speak to us or his teachers but when he told his teacher what his 2nd choice was he said dont bother with remarks or begging Warwick to take him. He said Durham is one of the best uni's in the country and anyone who gets in is lucky.
We live in the West Country and usually drove up to see him and stayed in the Travelodge at Gilesgate on the edge of the city. Hope he gets what he wants with Cambridge but Durham is fab too.

Many thanks for your advice. I will do that. I can't switch for another 6 months or so now  but I will switch then if they don't make thinks better cause it's a complete nightmare. But I will call that number and listen. :T :T :T

If it is an absolute nightmare you can always just pay up your contract.. They have to let you do that

QPR is brilliant at family trees, so far she has got back to the 1700's with mine and has got me so addicted (Think 4am still tracing things some nights:o) And my family is full of skeletons down to illegimate children in the 1800's and a great grandma that no one knew about in a lunatic asylum for 40 years(Thats what it was called then:()And we've managed to get pictures to go with relatives too so it's brilliant, in fact now I have a picture of my great great grandma who was born in 1875 on the side:T

:o Its been fun & fairly easy we still have much we can & will do when we can tear ourselves away from the glitches & these couple of stressful weeks for us both. Nikkilala is bar far the easiest person I've done research for because she really gets it, if you know what i mean, I only have to mention that if we knew this then we could find out someting & she's off

    The free Family Tree programs

    https://familysearch.org/products
If you have windows download PAF
If you have Mac download MacFamily Tree

familysearch.org is also a good free search site but talk to relatives & find out is anyone has certificates letters etc.

dont put your name & address on the site unless you want the Mormon missionaries knocking on the door but they are harmless & provide all this info free.

Tricia the site mentions Italian ancestry

    Thankyou.
