yeah i WAS really excited, filled all the forms in etc etc rung up to ask who i speak to about my LO's childcare etc and grants only to find out "oh you needed to come to the opening day last november, to come next september come to this november opening day" even though i applied for the pack after november so the woman that sent it out knew i was past the cut off date already.

So change of plans now as i'm set back a year means once i've finished doing up the flat i'm going to get a job until i can start college next year.

Bit annoyed but it's only a minor set back just wish i'd been told this before i got all excited and told the whole family i was going back to college.

nevermind though it'll all work out in the end x

Apart from Clarks where else do you get shoes for them?!
My DD is in need of new shoes, but the Clarks selection is really carp atm. She has wide feet that's why I prefer to get them from Clarks as they have the different width fittings, but is there anywhere else that does this also?

Many thanks, my DD will be most grateful she wasn't amused at not getting her shoes earlier I do sometimes wonder if she's mine, she's shoe daft whereas I'm just not :rotfl:

I switched from Clarks a couple of years ago because the prices shot up, the quality didn't seem as good but mostly because the styles were so awful and every single style had a velcro fastening, no buckles.

Get ours from M & S now, both boys and girls. They are about half the cost of Clarks, last very well, and usually there is a 3 for 2 offer on at some point. Much easier to take back if anything does go wrong. They don't do the same choice of width fittings as Clarks but for my kids they fit well - you would need to try them on in store, have you got one near you?

Jones is good too. They sell clarks shoes but often cheaper than clarks sell them themselves.
Clarks is only place ive found to get sons shoes from too, hes size H wide and cant even fit i velcro trainers etc etc but £40 for a pair of ugly shoes for a not even two year old is stupid!!
