We have 2 BT landlines in our house BT have been playing silly people lately. Half of the street had phone problems a few weks ago but not us. Then last week the mainline had a terrible background noise on it but we could still use it

Today the main landline is ok but mine is completely not working due to be fixed before 5pm on 20th Aug :(

I have this netbook set up for the wifi on the main landline but my desktop upstairs is on plug in broadband to my landline so cannot use it. No printing on Netbook from hell

The new Smartass TV has a dongle & is connected to wifi only used for youtube so far as i find out i need a special keyboard.

My question how do I know if my desktop has built in wifi ? its about 4 years old if not I guess I need to buy a wifi dongle is that correct ? I think the TV dongle is Samsung specific.

Its already driving me mad as Netbook From Hell refuses to open any links apart from other problems :( likw wont open 2nd page of smilies

BTW congrats on those winning Rick Astley how long can you keep him for ? He's aged well in the clips I've seen recently

Picked up 3 boxes of Pampers Wipes (9 pack) for £5.49 each in one of my locals today. Still some reduced nappies on the shelves in 4's and 5's though I resisted as have quite a few stashed away from the Pampers glitch a while back :). Did get a couple of packs yesterday as had a couple of MOC from the Baby Club which brought the packs down to £1.74 each:D

Shelves majorly restocked of the walking and boot socks. Scanned some walking socks and they scanned at £6:eek:. Decided not to bother :rotfl:

Evening all :D I am going to post, then take the dogs out as it has stopped raining, and will then start my catch up from Fudge_Cake's post 7086

I did notice that it is aau98113's birthday today though so Happy Birthday party0042.gif party0042.gif

I had my test drive of a Vauxhall Meriva this afternoon and it was lovely. Got a price for new  and for a one year old, but will be going to Nissan dealership tomorrow to check out the Note too, so will decide next week

I have been clearing out under the bed tonight   I have found Molly several times playing with glas bead type things and other Christmas decoration style bits and I know she is getting them from under the bed. Well, I found that the plastic storage box with my large Christmas garland in, was minus it's lid ;) She had been stripping the decs off the garland, bit by bit   Anyway, I have cleared everything from under the bed, including plenty of dog hairs , and will keep it clear from now on. Both Bess and Molly loved helping me  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I now have another 2 bin bags to add to the 2 I already had, to take to the tip tomorrow, and a box of ornaments, crockery, etc to take to the charity shop. Which reminds me, I got a letter from the charity last week informing me that they had made £111 so far from stuff I had taken in, and this will increase with Gift Aid, so I was well pleased with that :j :j

it is unlikely that is does, you can buy a dongle or just get yourself a long Cat 5 cable depending how far it is from your router

Are the two routers close together? Just wondering if you can plug the computer into the working router?

Here's how it should work in theory

You need 8 different qualifying items (i.e. not from the kiosk/whoopsied/electrical/homeware/George/etc) and at least one of these must be comparable with another supermarket.

If none of the 8 items are comparable elsewhere then there can't be a difference between A and any of M/W/T/S therefore no APG result

You should be able to get an APG result so long as at least one of the other supermarkets sells just one comparable product out of the 8 qualifying items that you bought

i.e. M,W and T might not sell any of the 8 products so everything would be N/A.
If S are out of stock of 7 items but sell the 8th item then you get the difference back plus 10% on that one item alone

Thanks for the above :) More confused then ever now :(:D
