Really pleased as I had lost 5 1/2 pounds in my first week back at S/world :j :j I did the pay-in desk for the first session and then the weigh-in table for the second session and left as that class started. I took the dogs out for a walk as soon as I got back and it was just as well as it started to rain just after we got back into the house
I had so many big hugs at class tonight from some of the 'longer-term' ladies. One young woman has lost 7 1/2 stone in just over a year and swears it was all down to Mr 3Dogs' encouragement and advice. I hardly recognised her at first as it was so long since I had seen her. She was so upset, as were lots of others, about Alanbut it is good to see how appreciated and loved he [STRIKE]was[/STRIKE] is
well done mrs 3 its a good feeling isn't it. we are proud of you girl. so glad you are thinking of the future and ur health, ur shed, (lol) shelves and ur wee car!! now when all this happens we want photos. I would love to put pictures of my stash on but don't have the patience to go thru all the palava to do it.

Are the amounts in the comparison the amounts with the VAT taken off - I seem to vaguely remember that A has done this before - with my tired addled brain not sure - hopefully someone more with it will see and helpVery interesting, thanks QPR. Actually, my disabled neighbour is in process of changing her motabilty car but it's only a Fiesta. I drive it regularly to take her shopping etc, but not sure if it would be what I want for myself. Mind you, it is the Zetec, an automatic and has done very ferw miles as, even wwhen she could drive it, she didn't go far. Have to have a think about that
Well done great loss (oops zapped the weight loss bit!) you must be well pleased

I don't think so. There's not vat on food and the rum is 10% cheaper. On Mysupermarket it's £17. Dunno what they're playing at, but should have got more back that I did:(0 -

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

I promised Mr 3Dogs that I would be going back to S/world once 'it was all over'. We were talking to the consultant and some members in town and I said I'd see them when I got back to class, and he said 'Oh, you're going back? I hoped you would but wasn't sure. I'm so glad you are' and I said 'of course I am, I promise' :blushing: I had previously lost 4 1/2 stone with S/world and Mr 3Dogs had lost 7 1/2 stone and made the Man of the Year finals, but 'life' got in the way and healthy eating was no longer a priority. It is now, as I want to make target for Mr 3Dogs as well as for myself. It's a long journey, and I may take a few wrong turnings on the way, but my consultant is my sat nav, and I will get there
Mr 3Dogs wanted me to plan for the future so he knew I would be ok after he'd gone, and I promised him that too, that I'd get on with things, so, although it is now a very different future than I wanted, I do appreciate that I have oneMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
