Just out of interest, has anyone seen in T's whether they are seeling off any london 2012 merchandise at half price or anything like?

Yes saw this evening was all on sale. Can't be anymore help as wasn't buying anything but think was half price. Had flags for 25p I know that much as thought they where hugely over priced ha ha:rotfl:

Just seen the space station as clear as anything. :T
Amazing to think it will be back in another 90 minutes or so and will have circled the earth in that time :)

I think I saw it but I'm not 100% sure. I saw a really bright light moving really quite quickly from west to east (before it went behind some clouds). Looked too quick and too bright to be a plane but how do I know if it was the space station?

If you looked at the correct time then you saw the ISS :T the light (reflected from the sun) from it is alot bigger from what a light on a plane would look like plus theres no flashing lights etc and no vapour trail like on a plane..

Its currently in orbit 370Km from earths surface and bombing along at 18000mph.. if my maths are right, thats 5 miles a second..

  • Thanks to the OP on the A's wine, got 6 bottles at 7pm and an apg back for over £13

Went to T's next, got a couple of whoopsies and picked up 2 boxes of pg tips the delicate one @ 10p each. No pork

Then went to sainsbobs tried going through the till with a few shandy first but was told only 1 coupon per transaction, so I said ok no problem put them through 1 at a time, 12 transactions later I was done. :D
While that happened I motioned to my wife to go through the ss till with the lager, she was told exactly the same thing so put them back. As we had a £15 giftcard from the last time we picked up 7 packs of lager and 5 packs of 12 wotsits and went through the till 1 item at a time.

Then off to another T's where I managed to find the pork :T so did a shop with 2 febreze for maximum jtd
Also did a seperate shop for whoopsies etc, found ambi pur japan tatami plug in @ £2.50 and used 2 coupons on each one so 50p each

I totally love u guys and aint it funny we all have the same stuff? wonder how that is. I still have very very many sacla sauces to use too, and dettol hand wash thingies, and we all love our lenor! I also now have lots of washing powder. The 24 wash bottles of ariel wash is £4 if you have any vouchers left. I prefer the boxed powder as i'm inclined to use more than whats recommended for a wash and it obviously makes washes more expensive. no tea bags in this region, which was sad. I have a few loreal wipes and huggies wipes. fairy liquid galore, shampoo and conditioner by the ton. Quite a few tampax toothpastes always pads. I also bought alot of tesco value shampoo and baby bath from when they were 5p. can't believe they are up to 47p how rediculas is that! Thanks to falks for sending me coupons from england that we can't get in Scotland my stash has much improved xxxxxxxxxxx

This is going to be easier said than done but do you know anyone who has a motorbility car like the one you want, most people on the scheme give them back after 3 years & just sign up for a new one, my Focus wasnt adapted just automatic & the motorbility people offered it to me at a good price (cant remember off the top of my head) with the option that if I didnt want it at that price I could arrange for a friend or member of the family to buy it at that price.

So my friend bought it for her husband they previously had a Fiesta Motorbility did all the paperwork getting the tax disk & logbook in the new name etc. They are very pleased with it as they knew I looked after it.

My present car goes back in December & the next door neighbour has already asked for it.

Very interesting, thanks QPR. Actually, my disabled neighbour is in process of changing her motabilty car but it's only a Fiesta. I drive it regularly to take her shopping etc, but not sure if it would be what I want for myself. Mind you, it is the Zetec, an automatic and has done very ferw miles as, even wwhen she could drive it, she didn't go far. Have to have a think about that ;);)

Shame, our friend in Portsmouth changed hi motabilty car about the time we got Alan's. He changed from a Toyota to a Vauxhall Zafira, but we didn't have the money then, and Alan was getting his car anyway. Timing wrong :(:(

Does anyone have these? Half price shelving unit, was wondering if they would fit underbed storage boxes on the shelves?

Are these the ones you guys have? Nikki? Miss Laid? And is this a good price? I have just had a brainwave. Mr 3Dogs kept all sorts of things in the brick-built outhouse/shed and most of it is still in there BUT if I cleared it out I could get a couple of those along one side :j :j :j :j

Really pleased as I had lost 5 1/2 pounds in my first week back at S/world :j :j I did the pay-in desk for the first session and then the weigh-in table for the second session and left as that class started. I took the dogs out for a walk as soon as I got back and it was just as well as it started to rain just after we got back into the house

I had so many big hugs at class tonight from some of the 'longer-term' ladies. One young woman has lost 7 1/2 stone in just over a year and swears it was all down to Mr 3Dogs' encouragement and advice. I hardly recognised her at first as it was so long since I had seen her. She was so upset, as were lots of others, about Alan :(:( but it is good to see how appreciated and loved he [STRIKE]was[/STRIKE] is :D
