I have a few of those type of books my problem is lack of space & living with two hoarders

you know when you just want to curse the OH.

Sent him off to fill car and 2 cans earlier. He paid for it and then told the cashier that he had PV!!!!

Too late they said, so he brought them home. He's on hols now for 3 weeks so isn't going to use it before they expire - I filled mine up (with PV) 2 days ago - so it's over to DD with her little teeny car - what a waste - wish I'd gone myself - he'd have saved £35+

I know what you mean my oh never concentrates when he's shopping either, and often misses 3for2 ect they just don't think. Or maybe they got too much money, that's what I always say to mine :D
    But sorry you lost out.

    Evening all :)

Mad finished fourth in the redspottedhanky comp and has won a days "experience":j:j

I'm hoping they will let me pass it on to the "Make a Wish foundation" as I don't fancy sending my azz down in a Zorb:eek:

I'll be honest its whats put me off getting one but MrLala bought it as a surprise for my birthday:cool:I usually pick books up for 50p at bootsales,But I'm sure we can find a way not to pay for them and their seems to be quite a few free ones that you can download:T
There are several "free ebook" threads in other sections of MSE, and there is a free piece of software called Calibre you can use to convert other ebooks to Kindle. Not used it myself, have a Sony so can use anything but Kindle! Have a look at libraries too, a lot now have ebook sections, some might even have started doing kindle ones.

Enjoy - would not be without my ereader now.

On another subject, my mind is about to burst!!! We normally just tell our travel agent where we want to go and he sorts out the details, but this year, due to my OH's ankle, we have not been able to book ahead. Hopefully next week we will be able to book something very last minute, but we just cannot decide where we want to go! Why do so many sites ask you to put a destination in when you are after suggestions!!!! Still, off to our travel agent's garden party next week, maybe we will be able to bend his ear.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
