Oh they are in danger of going bust after today!!! :rotfl:

Just had a good day shopping. Also went to JJB and got 2 pairs of trainers (courtesy of supersavvyme). SA was a sweetie and very helpful....had such a laugh when she pointed at my rather well worn trainers and asked me what I intended doing with them. I laughed and said I would be filing them in the bin. She suggested they filed them for me as I'd be discounted a further fiver off my new ones for recycling! I chortled as she picked them up between the tip of one finger and thumb and carried them at arms length to the bin and let them go! :rotfl::rotfl:

Of course only the elitest of the elite MSE'ers would walk out of a shoe store with two boxes of trainers in bare feet just to save a fiver! :)

Earned another bottle of scotch, got 2 sets phones (being olympic week the receipts of course were GOLD!) and wombled asda to death! Used APG's to buy my lunch too.

Beauty of it all, I was doing someone a favour picking something up for them they'd bought on ebay so they covered the petrol costs so I did it all for free too!

Not very often days are that good.

Way to go FC, We are not worthy!!!!! lol :rotfl:

Not quite sure how I'd feel about the missus parading around the room starkers 'after the fact' with a big board with a 10 on it while the neighbours cheered and applauded:rotfl::rotfl:

You sure about a 10????? Hmmmm think we need to speak to Mrs FK for clarification. :D:D:D:p:p

I wanted to mention about targetted shops at Tesco (or any others).

I have helped a few members on here to check what went wrong with their cereal shops as Tesco was cheaper. Each time it was because normal shopping was added into the mix. This is why it is important to do a shopping list before you go.

For example, buying chocolate on offer will cancel out your price promise for cereal. However, if you normally buy milk, you may be getting money back along with the cereal as many a time my milk costs more than in Asda.

So when you do a shopping list for cereal for the petrol coupons, list all your cereals. Then go to mysupermarket.co.uk and check how much it costs in Tesco compared to Asda. If it costs more in Tesco then add it to your list, but make sure you get the right sized box e.g. 295g and not not 550g.

If anyone reading this needs help with their list feel free to PM me. I have noticed the above a lot over the past few days but I understand it can be confusing. It was AngelMad on here that helped me with my list last week and that was after many questions I understood.

That's a very kind offer. Well done you. Maybe you should put it on the JTD thread if you want to be busy! :rotfl::T:T

Well poker didn't go to plan tonight. -£100 and -£4K on the year but I know it can turn in one night. Glad my backers are still up, well, I guess I'm up 16K overall so they are happy on the year. I just want to get back into profit :D

Grind begins tomorrow again at 6.30pm.

    Morning elite
Just been to mrTs. The moc's were given a real good going over by SA, only 1 moc per product allowed today. I have found this MrT very strict on coupons lately and was told they had an email last week about accepting coupons. x

Yeah I found same problem when I did my shop today. Every last voucher checked and double checked. Did you buy this, I don't think you bought that, checking the receipt to confirm if I had bought something rather than taking my word for it. I would have assumed that the voucher discount wouldn't apply if the product had not been put through the checkout, but could be wrong. Does make you feel uneasy though and think twice about using a large amount of vouchers at one time, but I guess that's what they were hoping to achieve.
