Hope this not :naughty: and gets deleted.

I have taken the swear word out.

It was a hot Saturday evening in the summer of 1960, and Fred had a date

    with Peggy Sue.

He arrived at her house and rang the bell.

'Oh, come on in!' Peggy Sue's mother said as she welcomed Fred
    in.
'Have a seat in the living room. Would you like something to drink?

    'Lemonade? tea?'

'Tea, please,' Fred said. Mum brought the tea.

'So, what are you and Peggy planning to do tonight?' she asked.

'Oh, probably watch a film, and then maybe grab a bite to eat at the milk[FONT=Comic Sans MS]
bar, maybe take a walk on the beach.'

'Peggy likes to screw, you know,' Mum informed him.

    'Really?' Fred replied; eyebrows raised.

    'Oh yes,'
    mother continued, 'When she
goes out with her friends, that's all
    they do!'

'Is that so?' asked Fred, incredulous.

    'Yes,' said the mother.

'As a matter of fact, she'd screw all night if we let her!' [FONT=Comic Sans MS]

    'Well, thanks
for the tip!' Fred said as he began thinking about alternate
    plans for the evening.

A moment later, Peggy Sue came down
the stairs looking pretty as a picture,
wearing a pink blouse and a hoop skirt, and with her hair tied back in a
    bouncy ponytail.

    She greeted Fred.

'Have fun, kids!' mother said as they left.

Half an hour later, a completely disheveled
Peggy Sue burst into the house
and slammed the front door behind her.

    'The Twist, Mum!' she
angrily yelled to her mother in the kitchen.

'The dance is called the ....Twist!'

Altojack - wow is it time for you to go up home already? Bet you are really looking forward to it. How long are you going for pet?

Leaving Suffolk early hours 6 am Monday (13th) :j:j and driving back on 21st (Tues) :(:(

I hate coming back, I get so weepy because I'm leaving my 'roots' again :( Bearing in mind my parents left the northeast in 1964 it is still 'my home' I haven't got many relations left up there at all now so it is even sadder :(
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

if the grandmother is only in her late 40's how can she have a granddaughter aged 12?

well lets assume they were all the age of consent...grandma couldve had mum at 16, mum couldve had tia at 16....give or take a couple of months, tia is 12, grandma is 47. Also, I've not read all reports but none of the surnames match so could the grandma be the dads mum ie paternal grandma?

either way, a very sad story, and imo, i dont believe the grandmas boyfriend is in a pub somewhere innocent (as per his sisters comment).... surely he would be keeping up with the news and realising he is to be arrested wouldve come forward asap to avoid looking even more guilty.
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
