As I understand it, the APG becomes active from the point you click "Get/Print Voucher" and enter your details. If you just go so far as to check the value of the APG and have a look at the comparisons then it doesn't register the date and the clock doesn't start ticking yet.
I dont think this is true of the mobile app. I think once you've checked it on your phone the clock starts ticking down. It might have something to do with the mobile app not having a name/address stagesorry just noticed typo in my post should have read 9 x £1.50
That makes more sense. 9x£1.50 would have been very goodchandlerscroft wrote: »I thought we were waiting till after the 14th when the vouchers run out, anyhow mine wouldn't fit in 1 picture as they are all round the garage in sell by date sections fortunately

I read something about the Dr Oetker £1 off pizza coupon working for any pizza. Is that the coupons that were in last months Tosco mag? Anyone know if it works with Chicago Town Mini pizzas (99p a pack)?0 -

Hope everyone else has had a much better day/night than me. Not sure if I've missed much, as there's loads of catching up to do, I will probably just skim read, hope no one minds.

Well I was meant to hear back from the surgery yesterday, today at the latest with my results (finally!) but unsurprisingly no phone call! Home phone hasn't rung once and no missed calls on my mobile.
Not even a call to say the results were delayed (if they were!), after all I've been through with them not labelling the bloods, fasting, going again then them messing up AGAIN and I don't even get that courtesy!:mad::mad:
I know we hear a lot of stories about the nhs. It really is disgusting how some people are treated. Don't get me wrong most nurse/doctors do an excellent job. But something really needs to be done to change the way we as patients are treated. I really hope you hear back soon.0 -

When I buy a single carrot, grape banana etc, I tell SA's that it's for the baby to try my baby is 8 months, I'd tell them that even if I didn't have her..
Ditto
single potato/mushroom/carrot/onion/grapes/banana are 6 of my staple items that make up my APG/PP shops and I genuinely use them all for my little one
7th item varies between baked beans/chopped tomatoes/kidney beans depending on my need
Since I put this list together it has all become so much easier.
I have taken to leaving the single grape out on the breakfast bar. It's become kind of like a calling card. When the missus comes home she sees one lonely grape sitting out and sighs/laughs "what was today's glitch?" :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
cosmic-dust wrote: »Ribena have two limited edition tumblers free with Ribena only available at Tesco. I spotted these in Tesco RP Sneck tonight the Ribena is on offer 2 for £5, if anyone is interested.
This is on offer at Sainsbury's for £1.43 per litre bottle. So, buy two at Tesco for £5 + 7 other items, get back a JTD for £2.14.
The two bottles and tumblers would have cost you £2.86 (assuming you actually wanted the Value items used to get to 8 items! Sometimes I see people on here completely forgetting to include these carp 'bulk out' items in their calculations, often making the 'deal' a bit rubbish (like the Coke cans last night - worked out at 21p a can if you included the Value items in the shop. The current regular offer at Tesco works out as 24/25p a can anyway.))
EDITED TO ADD - the Value items are great for bulking out if you actually NEED them and will use them, but I see people on here with more stock cubes than they know what to do with, for instance! That 30p spend then has to go in the calculations for the glitch if buying for the sake of making up the 8 items.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -
