:T:T:T I really applaud you MMW. Such a nice thing to do.

If anyone else is going to do shoeboxes please be aware some of the shoebox charities only give the shoeboxes out after the hopeful recipients have attended religious study classes and have converted to whatever religion the charity represents. It is often painted as a "religious leaflet" but in reality it's much more pressurised. I personally think these gifts should be given freely to the needy without bribing them.

    good afternoon peeps :)

a mixed day for me....DH woke me up this morning to tell me he'd won £220 last night at the casino (dont want to raise an issue on here about gambling, he only goes a couple of times a year)....so woop woop...can pay my mum back what I owed her when I bought my new car :)

Then went to meet my mum and nephew at the park so all the kids could have a picnic and play....got back to the car...mum was 10 mins past her ticket...I was 2.....managed to catch the ticket lady before she issued my ticket but mum wasnt so lucky! So a cheap picnic in the park cost us £25 :(

And I'm sat in the garden while DD2 has a kip...and a great big bl00dy fly thing (similar to a dragonfly but smaller) has just landed on me and I launched my laptop in the air to fight it off......luckily laptop landed on the grass and appears to be fine! But I can still hear the fly thing whirring around somewhere!

Hope everyones having a good day....got a few pages to catch up on yet :) And hope the sun has finally reached up north!

    xx
