IVE BEEN BITTEN BY A DOG...
i was out walking my dog on the lead when some small kid with his dog came up to us, his dog went straight in teath at the ready, i put my hand straightin the middle to stop the fight and i came out the worse for where, both dogs were fine no injuries at all, ive got 3 puncture holes and lots of blood. appointment at dr's in half an hour for a tetnus jab....

my dog just stood there .I think he thought well im bigger than you you little bl**dy ankle snapper whatts the point.
Oh mark that is awful i hope you are ok.
It makes me so mad when dog owners do not take proper responsibility for thier dogs. To me dogs should never be off the lead in a public place, but the amount of times i have walked through our local park and dogs are just roaming around somtimes they bound up on my ds and scare him to death then the owners say oh youre alright he wont hurt you, not much good after the fact of scaring my little one half to death. Also the amount of times i have seen owners not pick up thier dog mess is terible i tell them if i see them.
My ds would love a dog but i think its a massive responsibility to look after pets that i want him to be a little older. Rant over sorry it just makes me mad when i want a lovely afternoon in the park and it gets spoilt

Some dog owners ought to be put down, I have been cornered by out control dogs, had many owner arguments and almost thumped because I kicked a dog up the field that was biting my dog. I had regular shouting matches with a women who has 3 out control standard poodles, she wasn't bothered her dog was hounding me till I held my half brush handle up to smack it. We had a right few goes at each other, last year the same dog wrecked my back fence trying get at my jack russell. I eventually highered the fence and put spikes across the top, she can't do enough keep the dog off the fence now, I had few dogs with the paws on top but not for long.

People should realise how dangerous dogs really are. Mine does not bite people but I wouldn't let her near kids, she will fight with dogs though. I heard best thing do if dog starts fighting is just let it go then it can run away. The law is if the dog shows its teeth at you the ya can protect yourself.

Dogs really should be kept on a lead on the street and under control in a park, my jack russel has little dog complex so get's vocal at other male dogs so if we see another dog coming close we always put him on his lead to save scaring people. A few months ago my dog was attacked by 3 greyhounds and literally thrown in the air like a toy! I was petrified and screaming, eventually the owner entered the park and when I said his dogs had attacked mine he muttered "oh well!!!" disgusting!!
