IVE BEEN BITTEN BY A DOG...
i was out walking my dog on the lead when some small kid with his dog came up to us, his dog went straight in teath at the ready, i put my hand straightin the middle to stop the fight and i came out the worse for where, both dogs were fine no injuries at all, ive got 3 puncture holes and lots of blood. appointment at dr's in half an hour for a tetnus jab....

my dog just stood there .I think he thought well im bigger than you you little bl**dy ankle snapper whatts the point.

Hope you are ok Mark :( and your dog :(

I keep my Poppy on her lead and pull her to my side when anyone else approaches with a dog. The number of kids and adults who think its ok to let their dog come close to me and Poppy on extending leads  is beyond belief. I have seen kids round here trying to control large dogs.

As everyone is talking about bed wetting and potty training this morning

Can anyone give me some ideas on be wetting ....i have tryed everything and still hes still not dry at night, my son is 10 years old and still wets i have tryed all sore of things from charts to treats, hes under the hospital and they just say he will be dry when hes ready. I do try not to use pull ups as i think they dont help but i think we have gone passed that stage, if i dont use tgem then he will wet up to 4 time a night....if anyone got any ideas that may help theybwould be most welcome x

There is a theory about nighttime dryness that suggests the body needs to secrete a particular chemical which makes the child aware of the need to hold on or get up and have a wee, at night. This just happens when their body matures, there is nothing you can do to bring it on early. Each child matures at a different age. My son was dry in the day by 14 months (yep he was ready very early) but he wasn't dry at night until he was 5. Some children will mature earlier but get in the habit of wearing nappies, hence the "success stories" when offered certain bribery (and I'm in no way making any less of the success), when in fact they had already matured.

I have a online shop expected soon, and if I don't get 5 petrol coupons I'm telling the driver to take it all back!

I've always had bad Experiences with Online food shopping in the past from Mr T/A & S. all have sent my wrong products or damaged products. Will be interesting to see what I get today.

I did an online s shop a few months back and emailed them to complain about the state of the bashed veggies and something else. got an email back with a £10 e voucher....

Same her, My Alfie never gets lets off the lead when I take him out. He's a typical staffie and doesnt like other dogs although he adores people. It really winds me up when people are'nt responsible for their dogs:mad::mad:MrLala lets him off the lead because as soon as he sees another dog he'll call him back and Alfie does as he's told for him. But he's naughty with me because I'm so soft:o:oAlthough I've often wondered if its a protective thing with him and he thinks hes trying to protect me, either way I don't let him off:)
