Talk about sour grapes though, an excerpt from the Express today:
"The French have placed a question mark agains British success at the Olympics.
Isabella Gautheron, technical director of French cycling, said "Do they have a technology? A secret preparation? We have to do sports intelligence to know how they can be so strong".
But she stopped short of accusing the British of drug-taking, saying "They are monitored as much as us."
French TV and newspaper commentators also called into question the "outrageous" success of the British.
I have to wonder if this is sour grapes of the Tour De France, and it won't have helped that we beat them into silver in the track cycling today :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It's always nice to beat the aussie's, French, Germans and anyone else really
Quite surprised to see the aussie's as far down the medal table as they areI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. You can buy from amazon.com from here and have it delivered to Disney or there is a company near there that do gift baskets and deliver, I can try and find it if you like.
would you believe she wants sooty and sweep puppets which can't be bought on Amazon.com only .uk - have ordered them but need to post them over now - along with a few bits to remind her of home.....0 -

that would be too easy - what she wants is not available on amazon .com only .co.uk - already ordered it but need to ship it now0 -

Spent 2 hours catching up as was lucky enough to be at the Olympic Park today. Me and DS went to watch handball this morning and I am knackered. We had to leave at 05.30 this morning and so much walking. DS is only 5 and seems to have coped much better then I have.
Great day apart from 1 hour queue just to get into the shop xx
DS has gone to Hyde Park today to watch on the big screens and they've got live music, he just texted to say some group called "Soul to Soul" are on now, flipping wish I'd have gone now;);) definately showing my age now:oBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Popped to S's to use up my £10 BM, saw on the SS tills was a young lad so thought I'd give it a go and got 7 lagers, the lovely lad put them thru for me along with all the coupons, on my 4th and final try no BM popped out  I told the lad, he opened the machine and there was a twisted screwed up roll of BM paper, so he called the manager who ummed and ahh'd and sent me to CS for a refund, so I now have £21 on a gift card0

Do you have to have tickets for events to enter the Olympic park or can you just wander around the park and not attend an event
You have to have tickets and I think they've long sold out, we got ours ages ago and when we went their were people outside with signs asking if anyone had tickets for sale. Good value because the tickets were only £10 and that included an all day travel pass for the day for the tube:TClassy_Chick06 wrote: »Oh well, back to life back to reality.. !
