I put the food out for my 'hogs' tonight and now it is covered with about 25 slugs
DS4 says he thinks these are either spanish or french slugs that he heard or read about  they are killing our UK slugs and taking over:mad:
It gets worse ...................................... whilst sitting in the consevatory I could hear a scaping noise and it's six slugs on the roof   I won't ever keep my bedroom window open over night again
I wonder how I could get rid of them ?
I go with a light dusting of salt in the evening, around the places you don't want them. They may try to get there, but won't get all the way there.
It's only a game

I looked for some organic slug remover as we have a cat and dog. All I could find was ground up egg shell because they don't like the feeling of it apparently. So I just ground up my own egg shells. So, now I just sprinkle this around the food bowl of our hedgehogs and he slugs don't go near now.0 -

What happened to inflation. I dread to think how much things have gone up . Just googled it inflation is at 69% since 1992. So go and tell him you want at least a 70% raise:D
I know - but I still seem to have a lot more in my bank account than he has! The monthly housekeeing was agreed when we first got married and were both working full time. Other bills - water, electric, phone, gas etc were sorted out with him paying some and me the others. We were both earning around the same and it all seemed fair. Then he retired and went onto pension and a couple of years later I retired early (so only got works pension not state retirement). As my income was down he took on several more of the other bills so I wasn't much worse off than when I was working. It all ticked along fine - but then I took on a part time job and then , a bit later, I gor state retirement pension. DH didn't really seem to fathom out that I was now a LOT better off and said he didn't want to pass any of the bills back to me so, frankly, I was coining it ! Also, bear in mind that we tend to take at least 4 or 5 holidays, many of the all inclusive, so for around 12 weeks of the year i am getting housekeeping when I'm not dpending any of it!
So, I can hardly complain that I haven't had a pay rise can I ?ELITE 5:2

Final got my utility room emptied of 8 stacker boxes
He let me have the wood store and has put the wood in the shed
Is there an offer on lenor? Or do you have a lot of washing of clothes to do? lol!
I good, well organised stock cupboard!
Also, did you know p&g are doing an olympic promotion via supersavvyme.com
You basically buy p&g branded products and get 4 points per £1 spent, then collect points to get free olympic merchandise. Not looked much more into it but if you're buying the products and they're on offer then its ok like!0 -

Just got my Cristal Ball out of the draw. I can see a large glitch coming the moment the plane wheels leave the tarmac. There is going to be at least 3 large glitches. However, I can't tell you what they will be yet. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
