Well the fault really lies with the idiots who buy them!!

Mine were till spits in the first week, haven't got any this week, we're everyone's till spits the first week?
Suppose I'd better re-introduce myself: I've been lurking on here for the past few days (I used to post under the name 'adammccance' during the brilliant DTD days).

I'm moving back to Blackpool as I recently got engaged and have a new job located in Preston. This means I need as much help as I can get on the shopping front!

Of course, once I'm back in the swing of things, I will be sharing my finds as I used to before.

It's great to see so many familiar names from those days - nikkilala, celebrate, etc. Where's karlie88 these days?

    Welcome back!!

Ilovemykids - I have just checked my MrS voucher for the beer and mine has expired too, can not believe it, I am soo carp at this :(. I was so excited about it, DH wasn't too keen on the beer but enjoyed it so much more when it was free, not very happy with myself just now but think I must look on the bright side and think of all the money I've saved overall since discovering this fab site :).

Thanks again all, I will keep searching in the hope that I can find something to share with you all :T

:( sorry you lost one too,I too hope I can find something new soon to post haven't had a 'first find' for ages,we will :)

I'm fairly sure the most amount of petrol containers you are allowed to carry in a car is 2 and up to a max of 20 litres. If you store petrol at home the max is 30 litres and must be 6 metres away from any building, without getting a petrol storage certificate. I hope you take this as pure advice not meant to be a telling off or anything.

When the petrol strike was on about 13/14 years ago dad had about 8 jerry cans full outside.:rotfl::rotfl:

I saved the response I got a couple of weeks ago:

"If is Asda policy that in the event that we overcharge a customer we refund the difference and add on an additional £2 per different item overcharged"
Thank you. Is it worth calling them back to say I was told by Asda it's £3 per item? Or leave it and remember in future if it happens?
