I've had a little read up on the legalities and it appears that you are only allowed 2 x 5l cans and 2 x 10l cans.
lets see how strictly this is enforced0 -

Just printed off my apg from an earlier shop and I have got a moc for £2 off Bold attached. Anybody else had mocs this way or is it a new thing?:(0

I'm fairly sure the most amount of petrol containers you are allowed to carry in a car is 2 and up to a max of 20 litres. If you store petrol at home the max is 30 litres and must be 6 metres away from any building, without getting a petrol storage certificate. I hope you take this as pure advice not meant to be a telling off or anything.0
