Quick question re BA hold baggage allowance

Hi all
Hope someone can help. We are travelling to Nice with BA soon on a flight that was BMI when we booked it. This means we only get the 'BMI' hold allowance of 20kg each rather than BA's 23kg each. I just wondered, as a party of 4 and therefore a total allowance of 80kg can we share it - ie if two bags weigh 16kg and the other 22kg we have an average of 19kg each - is this OK or will we be charged excess baggage? Unfortunately we cannot change things round as two of the cases are smaller .
TIA

To be honest I don't know for certain, but I'd imagine you'll be ok, as long as you're under 23kg per bag and you're well under the total allowance. I think you have little to worry about. BA is miles apart from the likes of Ryanair0

Yes, you can pool your baggage allowance, as long as the total for your party isn't over 80kg you'll be fine.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
