Fastest time you've received your credit card after application

Another thread gave me this idea.

What is the fastest time you've ever received a card after being accepted for one?

List the issuer/provider and the time it took

Here is mine.

When I got a Lloyds Airmiles Duo, they said they would let me know, but I never heard anything back. 3 days later, I had a letter with the card in it :)

Cheers I didn't think it was that quick considering I was still on the phone to the application team when one of them heard the letterbox go and replied that's what we call a quick application.

Did you forget to mention the credit card making machine was outside your front door?

HSBC were quick for me, and it was a referred decision! I applied late Monday, was approved mid-day Wednesday and had the card Friday. Though the pin didn't arrive until the following Wednesday.
This is everybody's fault but mine.

Thats pretty awesome. They must have made the card on Monday and it arrived the next day.

I'm not too sure how the card creation process works though. It could be completely automated, which could mean it was created on the Sunday I guess.
  • Surely the fastest would be Metro Bank... they make them on the spot in branch?
