Hope this is in the right place.
I purchased an item off eBay on Wednesday. I received a message today saying the item had been dispatched next day delivery. I'm presuming the seller hasn't paid the royal mail guaranteed Saturday delivery charges, but do the royal mail still deliver parcels on a Saturday for all its not guaranteed I'm under the impression there's a slight chance it may still come. Don't want to be expecting it tomorrow if its not going to turn up I'm too impatient!

It is a bit hit and miss from what I know, it may or may not turn up tomorrow. Next day delivery usually means next working day, i've heard them advise at the post office that a large percentage of special sent on a Friday are delivered Saturday but it isn't guaranteed.Hope this is in the right place.

It can still turn up - its just not gauranteed.
Will probably depend how busy the delivery office is and if they have others in that area too.

They do deliver parcels on Sat but I always ignore Sat & Sun as working days even in todays 24/7 working hour week. That way when it turns up on a Sat it's a nice surprise.The most potent weapon of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. Steve Biko0

Is it definitely RM? If it is a carrier delivering next working day it will be Monday unless they have paid the Saturday supplement.0
