Becoming Self-Employed & Benefits

Recently my partner had the idea of starting her own business and I quite like the idea now and would really like to help, once we've got a plan set in stone we'll get the ball rolling but here's what's happening so far in short; we're going to have a market stall and sell women's clothing, accessories, make-up etc and are in the process of getting some wholesalers lined up.

I will be running the stall while she is still working (Earning around 10k a year, 800 a month give or take.) I'll be working 4 days a week and some days we might not earn a penny!

I was wondering what benefits if any we could claim, I have looked about but can't get a definitive answer although I do expect that to remain the case as it sounds like a painful process.

Very little other than possibly a bit of WTC and housing benefit depending on how much rent you pay and the LHA caps in your area.
