Hi
I purchased some funds through hargreaves lansdown today in the stocks and shares ISA. I was wondering how long it normally takes for my funds to show up in the portfolio?
Many thanks

I think you need to get the order in by 8am in order for it to trade today (at noon, usually). I think it then shows up in the afternoon sometime.
If the order went in after 8am, it probably won't trade until Monday.0 -
you'll probably see it in your account on Monday0

OK thanks for that.0

jonj they can vary depending on the fund. I bought into an Indian Bond fund that takes a few working days. But the info is all in the fact sheets.
On hl you can see your 'pending orders'. If they are pending then they are waiting for the next trading window. At this point you can still call hl and cancel (you cannot cancel online).
The transaction then goes to status 'Trading'. Too late to change now. And the transaction once trading takes only a few hours.

As above, it depends on the fund. Most have midday valuation points, but many with a more international flavour have different times and/or take longer to appear as the actual price details have to be communicated back to the broker.
One fund I bought only values weekly, so that can take a wee while to trade!I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0
