Ohhhhh - is that a real newbie that's winning do you think? I hope not.

This should be highlighted don't you think?

No physical items are being sold! However the document in this auction assists in attaining physical goods! This is an informational product only.

    It says it all really.

Why does it need to be highlighted? At least the seller put it in the description. Most sellers would have hidden it in jargon about the phone. If people don't read auction descriptions properly then no-one else is to blame but themselves.Don't get me wrong....I don't agree with these type of auctions at all but I would have thought by now people would know of these auctions and steer well clear.Unless the winner read it...understood it and was happy to pay for info??

I'm sure I'll get some flak for these comments but all it takes is a little time and reading auctions through especially if they are long descriptions because you know something is going to be hidden there.

I have to agree with shelly. All those people on alt.ebay moaning they have bought an empty PS2 box or suchlike and what was ebay going to do about it? Then when they give you the auction listing the title is 'empty PS box' and the listings mentions how useful an empty box might be to convince your friends you have a pS2 (or something).

You can't always protect buyers against themselves.

A long while ago I sold an item of clothing and the buyer really whinged that it was far too small. However in the listings i had actually stated the measurements so I asked her about that, and she came back with some nonsensical answer about how dare I suggest she was larger than a size 12, she had always been a size 12 and my size 14 skirt with a size 34 inch waist was wrong as her mother had told her that her 40 inch waist meant she was a 12 and she was sticking to that.. Long while ago though but I have had similair since.

I agree with Shelly. People expect to be protected against their own inability to read and understand English. If they intend bidding on something without reading and understanding what the auction says then they are fools. There is one born every minute.......................

PS Don't come back with 'newbies' 'rip-offs' etc. I am talking about this auction which is quite blatant....
