Don't know account number for claim

Hi, I had a credit card with Natwest years ago and there were some ridiculous charges and PPI put on it. I was terrible with money back then and it ended up with a debt management company. Does anyone know if I'm eligible to try and reclaim the charges?
Also, I've sent letters to Natwest requesting the account information and provided them with all the details that they asked for in order to be able to find my account on their systems. However, they just keep messing me about returning my letters and asking for something else. Then I again send them what they have asked for and they ask for something else. Does anyone know how I would be able to get this account information. It was closed approximately 8 years ago and I paid it off with the debt collectors approximately 5 years ago. The PPI and late payment charges etc were kept on the debt and I ended up paying all those off too

Have you tried going into a branch and asking? I found an old card number by looking at the payments i had set up on online banking for a claim I did. You said it was 5 years ago so I am guessing it might be too late for that.Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid
