Could a credit card arrive by tuesday?

If I applied today, could it be approved/despatched tomorrow and arrive on monday/tuesday?

It's to buy something online so I don't need the PIN number

Cheers

Possible, who was the issuer? I've had American Express cards delivered 3 days after an application before.

Highly unlikely, in fact I'd say no chance! You could well get it inside a week but expecting it 2/3 working days would be being over optimistic

It will be the Capital One Mastercard cashback card (assuming I get it)

    Thanks

Edit: do you need to sign and return a credit agreement, or provide ID? I didn't do this with my Barclaycard card

You've also got the PIN to arrive (which some provider's despatch before/after the card so an opportunistic thief doesn't get both at once)

Yup. Took 2 weeks get mine
  • You may not need the PIN to buy online, but you'll more than likely need to enter the verification code on the back of the card...

Very, very unlikely, when I applied a few weeks ago it took just over a week to receive the card/PIN, and I was an existing customer!
  • Haha no chance, Best for me has been 10 days at the earliest

Just applied and they said this "We'll be sending you your card in the next 7 to 10 working days."

I only need the card however, not the PIN number (which usually comes 2-3 days AFTER the card doesn't it?)

I will be able to use it online before I get the PIN won't I?
