Some Gatwick Car Hire Questions!
My Canadian boyfriend is coming to visit for two weeks in May and we'll be renting a car from Gatwick for two weeks.
Is it always cheaper to book online rather than at the airport on the day? I would have thought that the competitiveness of the various desks at the airport would have meant getting a better deal on the day.
Also, do we have to pay extra as he is a Canadian? The reason that I ask is that of I check out prices online it doesn't give an option for a non-uk passport holder as an additional driver so it's hard to do a search and comparison.
Thanks in advance!

No, it will be chaeper to book in advance. Airports are busy places and there is no shortage of takers for hire cars. A colleague of mine tried this a while back and there were no cars left when we got to teh desk.
Not sure about the extra costs for no UK citizen, but I would be surprised.0 -
