Hi all,
I travel to LA in September and hope to take in a couple of theme parks whilst I'm there in particular Universal Studios and Magic Mountain 6 Flags. Can anyone advise on anything I can do to get the best possible price for these?
I'm also travelling to San Francisco, Las Vegas and San Diego on my trip so if anyone has any advice on how to make my trip as cheap as possible then that would be great!!
Many thanks!
Kyle

Best deals I found for both of those was buying direct from their websites printing tickets at home0

When we were in LA we picked up coupon/tourist booklets at the airport and metro stations, that had vouchers off the parks.
Or, often fizzy drinks cans have savings on them.0 -
Have a look on https://www.mousesavers.com
I seem to remember that Arrowhead water had a $15 discount off entry when we went to Universal last year.
EDIT: This may help http://www.tourla.info/profiles/blogs/15-off-universal-studios0 -
We got 50% off Six Flags using a AAA voucher found online. As AA members we were eligible, but had to show our card. It's a fantastic theme park.0

we used that as well
6 flags is a fantastic theme park its a bit of drive to get to but well worth it
Depends where you start from of course, we have stayed in Pasadena (twice) so as to be on the right side of LA for six flags and for the horse racing at Santa Anita which is an awesome racetrack0 -
I don't know about discounts, but in terms of getting the best value out of your visit is to not buy the cheapest tickets but buy the queue jumper tickets, a bit more but you have a chance to get around the parks in a day comfortably. Also pay the extra to park closer to the entrance, some of the car parks can be quite a walk away.
No money saving I know but more comfortable for sure.0
