I've noticed a site where I can type the problem to get quotes from various electricians. Is this the best way?
I don't think it is - the people who run the website are probably taking a fee from the electrician, so they are interested in his/your money, not his reputation.
Usually I look at the ads in the local paper, and then look to see if they have been rated well in something like Checkatrade.0 -
