    Hi Lamba,

You should get more help with this on the home phones board so I'll move your thread over there.

If you have a 18185 account, you can probably call Pakistan for 4p connection and 5p per minute calling via their 020 81 80 2828 gateway number - see HERE.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

It would be probaly cheaper for you to use https://www.0844calls.co.uk 2p a minute 0844 Pakistan gateway number, with a 6p Virgin Media Connection fee.

However you do start paying as soon as you hit recorded announcement, and are charged even if you dont get through, unlike 18185.

If you really want free then get an sim only o2 cashback deal (via quidco) from e2save and you get 400 mins per month to call any 0844 access number that will let you dial pakistan.

Otherwise the 2p / min as above is still very good if you dont want to get a mobile contract.
    ummm...

Yes you will have to pay for connection and the cost of the call if you used an 0844 number as the inclusive calls (not free, you pay for them in package),do not include calls to non geographical numbers,it only includes geographical ones that start 01/02.
