Oh RedWineguzller, I followed your thread and you were so, so inspirational and strong for him.

I have not been on here for a while and this was the first post I read as I just logged on.

So very sad that your son lost his fight but at least he had his family to see him through it.

I hope you are ok, my thoughts are with you.

Much love to you and your family at this time. Please take care of yourself, you've been so strong and brave for him, and I'm sure that he would now want you to take some time for yourself to recover emotionally from what you've been through recently. :grouphug: maybe at some point in the future there is something that can be done through a charity or event to honour your son's memory? I'm sure there are plenty on MSE who would be happy to help out or support.

As I saw your post I just wanted to scream noooooooooo :(

Life is just so bl00dy unfair at times. Such a young man and such a fighter but this god awful disease has sadly beaten him.

Sending you and your family hugs to help you through the coming days, weeks, months. The things that have to be done get you through initially and after that things can seem bleaker than ever for a while. Somehow you find a way to breathe in and out & out one step in front of another and carry on until you find a day when you can smile at the happy memories.

I lost two brothers when I was seven and my mum told me that nobody is dead as long as someone remembers them. I truly believe this and talk about those I have loved and lost often.
