Tax credits in early?

My tax credits usually go in on a monday but they're in today....it's not a bank holiday on monday is it? Not sure why they've gone in early, has anyone elses?

Might be an extra payment then your regular one next week.

Mine in early too. No apparent reason.

It is, however, a Bank Holiday in Scotland. Perhaps this is the reason?

I just phoned and their is an auto message saying if we get paid monday we get it today. If you get paid tuesday you get it on monday due to scotland holiday. mine also went in early.

Phone this and it tells you in first 10 seconds

Yey I should get mine Monday then! I didn't realize it was a bank holiday in Scotland. Thanks for the heads up

mine went in a day early twice a couple of weeks back, I get them on thursday but for 2 weeks they went in on a wednesday, went back to thursday this week, no idea what it was about lol

Forgot to say mines due on a monday,but went in yesterday.
No bank holiday here,so not sure why its been paid.

Yes i'm England as well. They said the Scottish holiday was the reason although it's never happened before.

I also received my tax credit payment on Friday instead of Monday and don't know why. I had a couple of irregular payments at the beginning of July but that was because they'd received my renewal. No idea what has happened this time.

its because its Bank holiday in Scotland tomorrow.
