A2 Income Support Form Help

I hope someone can help me please.

I received an A2 form on the 28th July and the form has to be returned my the 8th August. So not giving me very much time to complete.

I pay service charges on my flat for which get housing costs in my income support, and the integrity centre need evidence about the service charges. The secretary of the management company for the flats is on holiday until Monday the 6th of August and there is no one else able to provide me with the supporting evidence.

So should I send the form back today and put a note inside to explain for the delay, and send the supporting evidence for the service charge when I receive it next week.

If there is a delay do you think they will suspend my benefit. If they had given me more time then I would'nt have this problem.

Give the DWP a call today - they will either give you an extension or tell you to return the form and submit the evidence later. When you call make sure you get the name of the person you have spoken to.

Since the secretary is back on the 6 th August they could fax the required information to the department. Telephone the DWP and ask for a fax number and explain what is happening.

Presumably there is someone at the Management Company who could take a message for the secretary and ask them to fax the information across. DWP will then receive the information within the correct time frame. Make sure the management company includes all your information in the fax.

I will do as suggested I will ring up an get a fax number. I should have thought of that myself.
